Cultural Alliance Announces 2025 Impact and Pathway to Mission Grant Recipients
York, PA – The Cultural Alliance of York County is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Impact Operational Support Grants, a one-time operational funding grant open for arts-based organizations in York County. Applicants are scored on organizational leadership, financial stability, and strength of programming. Operational grants to Mission and Impact Partners are a part of the core mission of the Cultural Alliance and are made possible by contributions to the Cultural Alliance of York County by businesses, community members, and foundations.
The recipients of the 2025 Impact Operational Grants are:
- Crowne Voice, INC, whose mission is to empower the residents of York County with the enriching experience of making music. More at crownevoice.com
- Dillsburg Arts and Revitalization Council, whose mission is to enhance the arts experience for adults and children in the greater Dillsburg Area. Learn more at dillsburgarts.site
- The Grotto Community Center is a non-profit contemporary space focused on promoting the development of the arts and small businesses by providing Coworking, artist studios, and private offices in York, PA. More at grottoyork.com.
- Hanover Area Arts Guild is an organization of approximately 150 eclectic artists and craftsmen, offering new exhibits monthly in the heart of historic downtown Hanover, PA. More at https://hanoverareaarts.com/
- Lyric Band of Hanover. The mission of the band is to provide an outlet for those who wish to play music. It also serves as a medium for instruction, with the purpose of raising the ensemble’s performance level, and to promote a musically minded spirit in the greater Hanover area. More at lyricband.org
- Northern Central Railway of York, whose mission is to enhance the economic engine of York County by delivering historical, educational, and entertaining experiences on an excursion railroad. More at northerncentralrailway.com
- Teaching Museum for the Fiber Arts and Textiles keeps the history and craft of the Fiber Arts alive in York County by teaching textiles to youth and adults. More at teachingmuseum.org
- Theatre Arts For Everyone (TAFE), whose mission is to give everyone the opportunity to be involved in, educated about, and entertained by the art of live theatre. More at https://tafepa.org
- The York County Hispanic Coalition is committed to honoring and preserving Hispanic and Latino traditions while raising funds to support high school students and adults in higher education. - York Fringe/Enroot is a portfolio of arts and humanities programs that create welcoming, safe spaces and utilize storytelling as a vehicle to help participants connect with others in their community. York Fringe is a central program of Enroot which provides an innovative platform for live arts in York City. More at yorkfringe.org
Beginning in 2023, the Cultural Alliance of York County also created a new partnership called Pathway to Mission Partners. These organizations have demonstrated exceptional programming and leadership as Impact Partners for the past 5 years.
- DreamWrights Center for Community Arts, whose mission is to provide creative educational experiences through inclusive inter-generational performance and theatre arts programming. Learn more at dreamwrights.org
- Susquehanna Folk Music Society, which is a nonprofit education and arts organization dedicated to the advancement, promotion and preservation of traditional, contemporary and international folk music and folk culture. Learn more at sfmsfolk.org
Arts and cultural organizations in York County who have been in operation for at least three years and host regular programing throughout the year are invited to apply for the Impact Partnership.
